MedSelect Advisory Council Announces the 2004 Users Group Meeting

Alpharetta, Ga. January 18, 2004 -- Join the MedSelect Advisory Council (MAC) Board, other MedSelect clients, and MedSelect at the Sheraton Station Square Pittsburgh from March 11th - 13th for MAC 2004 and a St. Patrick's Day Celebration!

The 5th Annual MedSelect Users Group Meeting will feature 2 ½ days of learning, as well as networking opportunities for MedSelect clients and end users. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn how to efficiently manage MedSelect products from MedSelect consultants, as well as other clients. Additionally, clients will have the opportunity to offer input into MedSelect's future development.

Registration for MAC 2004 is FREE! Your registration includes Continental Breakfasts, lunch on Thursday & Friday, welcome buffet on Thursday evening, dinner Friday night with gambling and Karaoke, and the final Champagne Brunch on Saturday. Attendees will be responsible for all other meals.

MedSelect is pleased to announce that several sessions are being made available for CE credit for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Steve Olsen, Pharm.D. from JCAHO.

This year's topic will include what JCAHO expects from Pharmacy automation and maintaining compliance to stay ahead of the curve. (3 hrs of CE are available for this session) The objective of this lecture is to provide Pharmacists, Technicians, and other healthcare professionals with practical information regarding compliance with Patient Safety Goals and provide information that debunks many of the myths of JCAHO guidelines involving automation.
